Role description:


The Internal Consulting Resource Manageris a coremember ofCitisinternal consultingsolutions (ICS)organization. Thekey roles of theinternal consultingorganization are to lead significant programs in partnership with Citis functional and business unit leadership; to develop Citis approaches and methods; to build change capabilities across Citi; and to engage Citi employees at all levels in transformational change.


The Internal Consulting Resource Manager, in close collaboration with the Head of Internal Consulting Solutions,will oversee the hiring of new internal consultants (with Citi Talent Acquisition), support resource allocation/staffing across consulting engagements, oversee onboarding and assimilation of new resources, and manage the develop and implementation of the training curriculum. The performance of the Internal Consulting Resource Managerwill be measured by a combination of individual and team metrics including talent acquisition and retention and consultant utilization.


Responsibilities:


Oversee, in consultation with talent acquisition and the head of internal consulting, the hiring of new internal consultants


+ Oversee the onboarding and assimilation of new talent

+ Oversee training curriculum and delivery for team members in consultation with Talent and Development

+ Support the head of internal consulting with resource allocation/staffing for internal consulting engagements

+ Manage the end-to-end planning and budgeting for headcount including managing to the agreed plan, speaking to status and execution

+ Partner with HR on skills assessment for current and prospective talent

+ Centrally manage all external search fees, streamlining approach to create visibility and transparency of cost, approvals and budget related to recruiting firms

+ Partner with managers and senior leaders across function to understand current demand

+ Forecast future demand of hiring needs and how that aligns with overall organizational designand how to effectively resource those skills in the market with HR and TA


Qualifications:


+ 8+ years of experience in resource management and resource optimization, ideally in banking or management consulting

+ Demonstrated success building new teams

+ Project management experience with demonstrated ability to plan and monitor the delivery of projects, anticipate appropriate resources, ensure quality, and maintain high standards

+ Strong written and verbal communications skills

+ Demonstrated experience creating, owning, and developing PowerPoint presentations and similar forms of communication

+ Strong presentation and relationship management skills. This individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic and approachable style.

+ Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and other data visualization tools

+ Self-starter who brings high sense of urgency to assignments and goals

+ Willingness to roll up sleeves and chip in

+ Comfortable with ambiguity and change

+ Passionate about improving employee and customer experience

+ Has strong project management skills but deploys a flexible approach to meet the needs of a broad group of diverse stakeholders

+ Balances analytical and creative abilities

+ Detail oriented and effective multi-tasker
