Boeing is currently looking for a **Development Lead** to join their team in **Englewood, CO.** This position will focus on supporting Boeing Digital Services with Customer Self Service for a global customer base.


A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration, as this position will focus on working within an Agile team to implement support customer-centric strategies and helping to enable the department to meet their organizational goals through daily technical leadership, technical team oversite and development tasks.


Candidate should be able to maintain legacy PHP applications and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing and future applications maintained in the customer support product portfolio.


This position serves as a key role and is responsible to oversee the solution implemented by the team while bringing thought leadership to revolutionize it.


**Position Responsibilities:**


+ Leads the technical team, with a focus on coaching, best practices and quality

+ Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components for the existing PHP applications

+ Determine root cause for the most complex are issues when arise and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions

+ Remain current on new technologies; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary working with the team and the architects

+ Provide technical expertise and professional experience to assist the team in planning, estimation, and scheduling tasks

+ Create high fidelity designs for new components and experiences

+ Determine process improvements, best practices, develop new processes by collaborating with the team and the architects

+ Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management


**This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location option.**


**The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**


+ 5+ years Software Programming experience.

+ Full Stack developer experience building responsive applications using, Angular, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery.


**Preferred Qualifications** **(** **Desired Skills** **/** **Experience** **):**


+ Bachelor's degree or higher

+ Good Experience with REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON).

+ PHP

+ AJAX

+ Solid understanding of Software best practices.

+ Proficient in data modeling, design patterns and design limitations.

+ Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.

+ Willingness to lead and work on Salesforce CRM platform to support the applications that are integrated with Salesforce.

+ Strong solution design and problem-solving skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead others.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Agile or SAFe certifications

+ Experience with Salesforce or another CRM

+ Experience working on cloud frameworks (AWS or similar)

+ Aviation experience a plus


**Typical Education & Experience** :


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelors) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters and typically 7 or more years related work experience.)
