We are looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test who has strong hands-on test automation experience and leadership skills. Leveraging your subject matter expertise, you will lead a team of Test Automation Engineers and Manual Testers to mature their testing and quality assurance capabilities. You will have the opportunity to coach others, establish best practices, and continue to grow your own technical skills. You will be part of a high-performing agile team delivering tangible results to our clients in our enterprise investment and reporting services team.
In this role you will:
Establish best practices for testing across multiple Agile teams
Define testing strategy for products and manage QA Engineers to ensures adherence to strategy
Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define and prioritize testing needs
Recommend solutions aligned with Global Technology and business unit strategies
Build and leverage test automation frameworks to reduce manual test coverage
Integrate test automation with CI/CD processes
Provide subject matter expertise to peers and direct reports on unit, functional, and non-functional testing
Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Tech Leads across teams to measure and track application quality performance indicators
Required Skills
5+ years of experience with Selenium or Cypress testing UI functionality
3+ years of coding experience in Java and/or JavaScript
5+ years of experience with Cucumber and Gherkin developing acceptance tests
3+ years utilizing JMeter for performance testing or other QA tasks
3+ years of experience testing REST APIs with REST Assured and Java
5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL
