Manager of Contract Administrators in the interpretation of tariff and company policy with respect to contracting and reporting of natural gas transportation and storage services for the West Region Kinder Morgan interstate pipelines.
Develop and maintain practices, processes, and procedures, which encourage teamwork and decision making while minimizing uncertainty.
Advise Contract Administrators in issue resolution with internal and external customers.
Primary contact for pipeline customers on matters of contractual activity and capacity release.
Stay informed of NAESB standards and changes as they relate to contracting and reporting purposes.
Maintain a positive relationship with West Region customers through industry and system changes.
Oversee daily contracting tasks for transportation and storage services
Oversee the FERC mandated capacity release program for the West Region interstate pipelines.
Communicate tariff, contractual, and reporting issues and changes to the appropriate departments.
Work closely with Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, Capacity Planning and Scheduling on new services or changes to current services to ensure proper set up of contracts and contractual data.
Oversee the quarterly reporting of the FERC Index of Customers.
Manage the Rollover and Right of First Refusal (ROFR) processes as outlined in each pipeline's tariff.
Take an active role for reporting and prioritizing DART projects necessary to support the Contracts application.
Participate in the Internal (KM and PWC) audits related to the contract Sox controls. Provide all requested information through the auditor system by the due date.
Coordinate and respond to any data requests as they relate to contractual information.
Prepare and participate in annual performance reviews for employees.
Promote and embody Kinder Morgan core values and adherence of Kinder Morgan's Company Policies and Procedures.
Administration of job responsibilities in accordance with Kinder Morgan's Code of Business Conducts & Ethics and Compliance.
Follow through to appropriate areas within Business Management concerning issues of all the above.
Position Requirements
Understanding of the various pipeline services offered by the West Region interstate pipelines.
Knowledge of NAESB Standards and Guidelines for contractual reporting and capacity release requirements.
Strong skills to search, locate, evaluate and use information that is relevant to a particular topic from within the pipeline tariffs and contractual agreements.
Proficient in PC applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience in managing a team or project.
Direct external and internal customer relations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to develop positive working relationships with peer departments.
Knowledge and experience with DART.
Pay range: $113,900 - $141,000 per year. This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill sets.
