Position Summary
This position will be a key member of the Samsung Digital Appliance Integrated Marketing Team, which will lead creative/content development from communications strategy development to digital execution on Samsung.com. S/he will lead an integrated approach to the planning and implementation of campaigns to support product launches and key strategic initiatives. S/he will be responsible for the overall Go-To-Market strategy for the Small Appliance category, partnering with key cross functional teams to implement across all consumer and channel touchpoints.
The Manager, IMC will effectively manage the collaboration and integration across internal stakeholders (Product Management, Channel Marketing, Digital/Social, Media, PR, Global Brand Management, Corporate Marketing) and lead agency partner relationships in a fast-paced environment. S/he must be strategic, creative, collaborative, and results-driven to deliver holistic creative excellence and effective integrated marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing consumer-focused or technology industries, consumer-oriented strategy development, creative & communications development, and digital-led marketing. S/he will have experience developing customer experiences and content for digital platforms, such as .com sites. Reporting to the Director, Integrated Marketing Communications, this individual will collaborate with other stakeholders across the organization on strategic initiatives that drive continued growth on Samsung Electronics Digital Appliances.
Role and Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop the marketing & creative strategy, communications framework, and messaging architecture.
Develop creative and IMC briefs that drive omni-channel communications development/implementation across Digital, Social, and Earned.
Lead the development and production of online/digital content supporting the Small Appliances categorys marketing landing pages (MLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs) on samsung.com.
Lead the Integrated Marketing approach/process by collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver/launch omni-channel marketing plans and advertising campaigns.
Manage agency relationships and serve as the key project manager to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Prepare all product launch toolkits for the Small Appliances category within Digital Appliances.
Conduct brand health & competitive assessments and develop a routine forum for sharing.
Skills and Qualifications
Necessary Skills / Attributes:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or marketing from an accredited college or university; a Masters Degree in business or marketing is a plus.
7+ years experience in big brand product marketing and digital communications development for .com platforms. Experience with consumer product or consumer technology is a plus
Understanding of key cross-functional marketing fundamentals including strategy, media, experiential, digital, social, PR, product/brand management and channel marketing.
Experience working with agencies and cross functional teams to deliver integrated marketing plans.
Understands, experience with and ability to apply consumer and category insights to identify issues and opportunities.
Proven relationship-building skills with developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within teams, business units and large organizations, both inside and outside the company
Refined project management skills with an ability to translate broad business requirements into actionable project plans
Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines
