The Manager of Marketing Automation is responsible for the design, quality assurance (QA), execution, maintenance and reporting for automated marketing programs and email distribution. He or she will not only administer and lead all automation processes, he/she will create the measurement plan for data management, including database readiness metrics and metrics that capture the impact of database readiness on downstream marketing processes. Responsibilities include acting as departmental liaison to other functions such as Digital Marketing Operations and Commercial Excellence. Additional responsibilities include program strategy, monitoring and analyzing, governance, and training messaging in relation to marketing technology usage. What you'll do

  • Work with marketing leadership to develop coordinated marketing automation strategy within Pardot and High Velocity Sales

  • Assists in the technical conceptualization of demand creation, nurturing and lead scoring program strategy together with demand generation team

  • Working with the demand generation team, sets inbound lead goals and measure results

  • Test the performance of landing pages, special promotions (non-campaign related), content and product placement

  • Creates emails, landing pages, forms and reports within the MAP, including templates for use by others within the marketing function

  • Develops plans to ensure data and process integration of systems that support key marketing processes

  • Creates nurturing and lead scoring programs to support the marketing organization

  • Documents MAP processes, programs and procedures in relation to the Employer Services business unit

  • Drives all highly leveraged, repeatable marketing activities related to the "back end" of demand creation that can be centralized. Examples include list pulls/segmentation, translation and the construction of tactical templates (e.g. email), engagement studio within Pardot, etc.

  • Create a model to track and measure program objectives for each technology from adoption to execution and optimization

  • Contributes to process and data governance initiatives to ensure technology management complies with key governance standards

  • Act as the catalyst for digital transformation, promoting cross-functional focus on customer experience through complete view of customer communications

  • Create and maintain maps and use cases of digital activities and touchpoints for primary audience categories; Document and communicate/distribute across the organization

  • Use analytics - often in partnership with Digital Marketing Operations - to continuously audit and improve digital experiences and outcomes

What experience you need

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing automation and marketing technology experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a matrixed B2B environment

  • Experience advocating for marketing technology needs

  • Experience managing project, budget, and resource allocation to support success and efficiency
