Job Description
The new position is responsible for managing digital transformation initiatives, automating existing manual functions as well as streamlining and automating data used to support product marketing collateral, content and digital properties.

Responsibilities:
Lead digital and data transformation projects to build end-to-end process automation for product marketing collateral, proposals and web properties for Manulife Investment Management and John Hancock Investment Management.
Bring deep data knowledge, robotic process automation and machine learning experience, combined with a solution mindset to recommend new ways to drive more efficient and automated processes.
Define future state data architecture in partnership with technology and digital teams.
Collaborate with key partners in technology, operations, digital, compliance, client portfolio management and external vendors to establish roadmap for data and process automation.
Drive solution workshops and establish project plans with KPIs to measure success.
Displays an ability to manage multiple automation initiatives in parallel, measuring workload requirements of active projects against assignments and work schedules to ensure high utilization rates among stakeholders and team to address capacity concerns.
Exceptional communication skills. Strong ability to manage stakeholder communication with regular reporting, identifying where issues need to be escalated to resolve.
Assumes ownership of delivery with a sense of urgency and ensures roadblocks are solved or escalate quickly.
Change agent who challenges status quo and seeks solutions.
This role may be required to assume additional responsibilities as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies/Education:
5-7 years project management and data/digital automation and transformation related experience, with at least 2 years' experience working within/for a Financial Services firm. Institutional investment knowledge and experience a plus.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred)
Deep understanding of data mapping and experience implementing robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning and / or AI tools
Strong autonomous decision-making skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a role with significant impact on client interaction, both internally and externally within a global organization
Proven experience redesigning processes and implementing automation
Technical knowledge and proficiency in robotic process automation (RPA) and optical character recognition (OCR) tools, in addition to Microsoft Office (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel).
Highly analytical with expert problem solving skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment
