The Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) Regional Head of Marketing & Communications for North America provides a key role in the formulation and implementation of CCBs NAM strategy. The person joins a team that is focused on creating relevant and creative content, sharing it with clients and prospects in the most impactful way and measuring its success to ensure we are helping the business grow and our clients succeed. The team also works on analytical projects to address strategic topics at the top of our clients agendas. The small size and high caliber of the team drives a focus on high-priority, high-impact issues, including but not limited to:


+ Development and execution of a regional marketing and business development strategy for NAM CCB, focusing on **growing revenues** , **enhancing branding & visibility** and improving **client experience** and strengthening **employee engagement** .


+ Identification of opportunities to enhance sophistication and efficiency of existing processes using content management systems and CRM tools..


+ Having ongoing close relationship with countries for best practice sharing and success transfer and with other regional marketing colleagues


+ Working with the CCB Global Office to roll out initiatives in CCB NAM which will add value to the North America franchise.

+ Exploring new opportunities for lead generation, developing a client event strategy and developing more client case studies that demonstrate the capabilities of CCB.


The incumbent will be a key member of the team, responsible for refining CCBs existing marketing and communications strategy and executing on a marketing plan that further promote visibility across the region. This senior leadership role is expected to:


+ Serve as the lead Marketing representative for the CCB Region Head, the CCB Regional Management Team and all CCB Country Heads in the region.


+ Be responsible for contributing to the development of key messages for the business, amplifying global themes with consistency and local context.


+ Work collaboratively in partnership with CCBs Global and Country Marketing Teams and its dedicated Communications Partners with focus on effectively creating increased awareness of CCB both externally with clients, prospective clients and prospective employees, and internally with employees and partner groups.


+ Instill CCBs strategy, value proposition and product capabilities in a common way across all platforms and content to maximize visibility, while maintaining the integrity of the Commercial Bank and Citis brand, and maximize client and employee satisfaction, loyalty and retention for improved business results.


+ Assist in the execution of CCBs strategy for external marketing to clients to deepen wallet share and to drive revenue with prospective clients.


+ Manage the execution in North America of global toolkits designed to enable sales and optimize best practice marketing programs for replication.


+ Work in partnership Country Marketing teams to ensure that proper tools are being provided to RMs to enable them in their sales practices.


+ Ongoing and coordinated management with Regional Consumer and Global Events Management (GEM) teams of the Forward Book of Events, marketing calendars and Regional budgets to ensure transparency of any re-prioritization and trade-offs to spend in alignment with agreed business priorities.


+ Manage and stage regional business and client/prospect events, webinars and conferences.


+ Coordinate with the business to develop the key stories (people, clients and performance) that will convey the key messages and strategy, and be the content for external marketing.


+ Develop and execute content distribution plans through paid and owned media channels to create awareness and engagement among internal and external target audiences.


+ Measure and report on the impact of marketing initiatives in order to inform the strategy and planning of future programs.


+ Foster close working partnerships with the regional / country Public Affairs, Event Marketing and Business Services units supporting the company to ensure alignment of messaging and optimization of support.


+ Documented record of success in senior marketing management positions(s) illustrating strategic business knowledge

+ Minimum of 10 years marketing experience in financial services with marketing and communications experience


+ Experience leading projects spanning various functions and business partners.

+ Traditional and digital targeted marketing experience a plus.

+ Demonstrated process management disciplines - designing, refining, and managing execution processes.

+ Experience leading creative and media planning teams to develop effective campaigns tailored to reach and resonate with a highly targeted audience.

+ Management and accountability of marketing budget to deliver impactful results for the business.

+ Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills, to provide clear, detailed creative direction. Ability to think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions.

+ Excellent project management skills. Highly organized and deadline driven, able to manage executional details.

+ Collaborative work style: ability to interact effectively with partners across organizational and functional boundaries and hierarchies

+ Detail oriented, deadline driven and able to meet multiple deadlines while staying highly organized. Adept at handling projects dive into it, drive forward, and see it through to completion.

+ Able to lead, influence others in a positive and collaborate manner in order to achieve results and think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions.

+ Proactively promotes collaboration, sharing of best practices and success transfer.

+ Possess a proactive and positive attitude.

+ Flexibility in a fast-paced environment necessary.
