The Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing Sr. Advisor will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of test automation engineering for the quality engineering (QE) organization. This role will be responsible to plan and manage execution of comprehensive suites of test automation scenarios to support each test phase. Additionally, this role will research, identify, and develop toolsets to address functional and integrated testing needs. W ith a mindset of "automate first," this role will ensure repeated activities are automated.

Key Responsibilities :


  • Provide technical leadership to a utomation e ngineers on the QE team, including s trategic p artners

  • Promote the use of automation for test execution and as a service for a pplication and b usiness partners


  • Design the test automation roadmap and define governance standards to ensure adherence

  • Enhance/build/maintain the test a utomation framework

  • Recommend the test design approach for each phase (in-sprint, system, regression, integration, performance, volume, and stress)

  • P roduce metrics to show th e value and savings enabled by test a utomation

  • Integrate test automation into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery approach

Required Experience / Qualifications:


  • 5+ years in test automation roles ; 8 + years of experience in technology delivery

  • Demonstrated experience in use of scripting languages such as Python, JAVA

  • Demonstrated experience with tools such as Zephyr, Jenkins, GIT, Selenium, JBehave , Cucumber, Maven, testNG , or similar tools


  • P rovid e leadership for p rojects of various s izes and levels of complexity

  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies and disciplines including Waterfall and AGILE and understand how to test within both paradigms concurr ently

  • Strong interpersonal skills including but not limited to : problem solving, decision making, influencing, change management, written and oral communications along with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups

  • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively, as well as ma nage outsourced/offshore testing arrangements

Preferred Experience / Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, En gineering or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Rally or Jira

  • Healthcare i ndustry knowledge and experience

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $92,600 - $154,300, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
