Inspire, design and develop products and systems as a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. The Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate across Honeywell engineering teams to build solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of hardworking engineers whose expertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews mechanical drawings and models for form, fit, function, and compliance to internal and industry specifications (ASME Y14.5, Y14.100, etc.)

• Works with mechanical design engineers to establish proper datum and dimensioning schemes, view selection, and notes on engineering drawings

• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to help design mechanical components and systems

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

• 4+ years of experience in the mechanical design engineering field

• 4+ years experience with GD&T

• 4+ years experience with Technical Drawing principles

• 4+ years experience with Model-based definition

• 4+ years experience with CAD (Siemens NX) and PDM (Siemens Teamcenter) or similar

WE VALUE

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, or similar markup software

• Prior experience as a drawing checker in the aerospace industry is a big plus

• Prior experience training and mentoring team members

• Prior experience teaching GD&T and drafting fundamentals

• Ability to support multiple projects at the same time

• Coding experience
