Senior Quality Engineer Manager, Core Technology Infrastructure

**Job Description:**



The Senior Quality Engineer Manager will be in our Cloud Core Foundation with a focus on quality assurance and performance testing. The candidate will deliver backend and user interface testing of our products, with a specific focus on Cloud platforms. This role will be working in a team, building and delivering the agreed tools, infrastructure, and frameworks that help us accelerate product testing/validation.



Key Responsibilities:



+ Works with development teams, product owners, program managers, and release engineering teams to identify and build complex End-to-End and functional test scenarios and collaboratively drive testing practices across verticals

+ Participate in test automation code reviews as an additional means to contribute

+ Directs a Software Quality Assurance (QA) function within Core Technology Infrastructure CTI. Manages all aspects of the software QA function and implements and maintains software QA standards and procedures for multiple lines of business or technology areas.

+ Responsible for oversight, scheduling, coordination and deliverables for software QA activities performed by QA team in support of systems and software projects for lines of business and technology partners.

+ Interacts with business area executives, vendors and operations executives in determining whether systems and system components, including hardware, networks, system software, tools, and applications are ready for production deployment.

+ Responsible for instructing, directing, and reviewing the work of other associates, contractors, and strategic partner resources that are part of their team."

+ Recommend testing tools and test architectures (test automation frameworks, code libraries, etc.)

+ Assist with setting up test environments, design test plans, develop test cases and scenarios, develop and maintain test data, drive automation and execute test cases

+ Develop, and execute automated integration and end to end tests, as well as manual exploratory tests as needed for multiple projects

+ Coordinate resolution of product issues. This includes reporting on KPI'S, and corrective action plans.

+ Drives automation and standardization, whilst maintaining the right quality engineering practices and accelerate high software quality development and provides input to all aspects of quality engineering including applying industry best practices, and developing new testing solutions and methods

+ Partner with development/engineering teams to define and build QA tests for components and systems.



**Required Qualifications**



+ Proven track record in software testing, test automation, tools development preferably in large scale distributed enterprise solutions and products

+ Proficient in designing, developing, and executing test cases. Knowledge of Test Automation and tools.

+ Experience with various testing methods (unit testing, smoke test, sanity testing, regression testing etc).

+ Experience with on-premises based Private Cloud and Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud

+ Experience in agile CI/CD tools & processes

+ Proficient in test automation scripting like Ansible /Java Script/ Python and test frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Applitools, Code Quality Scanning using SonarQube etc

+ Ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt to changes in project scope.

+ Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and internal clients.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills

**Jersey City pay range:**



$127,400 - $190,000

annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
