**Job Description:**
Responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Ensures people development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Develops a technology strategy and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products. Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g. prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits. Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews). Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Manages a team.

**Overview:**
The Senior Technology Manager will lead the Swift technology domain by assuming both direct responsibility of banks SWIFT technology and accountability for all aspects of the Swift technology ecosystem by partnering with, leveraging, guiding, and influencing teams that provide project management, risk, production, infrastructure, and other associated service providers globally.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for building and leading teams to deliver SWIFT technology products and services that meet business outcomes
+ Provide oversight of day-to-day execution required to deliver banks SWIFT technology capabilities
+ Establish target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
+ Ensures execution and delivery meets client expectations in terms of target outcomes, timelines, and cost by directly managing technology domain and influencing key stakeholders and sponsors
+ Establish and build relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk and vendors for SWIFTs technical products and solutions
+ Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, Business & Technology Operations, and other stakeholders
+ Understand, plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations
+ Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve target outcomes and timelines
+ Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
+ Responsible for overall solution delivery management as relevant e.g., prioritizing technical debt, compliance, and information security concerns, and supporting all risk routines, including internal and external audits
+ Creates and implements technology strategy for the SWIFT technical domain, ensuring solutions comply with applicable standards.
+ This role advocates and advances modern, Agile delivery practices and evangelizes great design, modern engineering (hybrid Cloud, microservices, APIs, etc.) and organizational practices
+ Manages a mid-sized team of full-time staff including manager(s), alongside contractors
+ Responsible for all aspects of performance management, career development, building and leading team, and enhancing team maturity through team / client feedback
**Required Skills:**
+ 15+ years experience in Banking or Financial Services Technology, preferably with deep experience in aTransaction Services Technology and / or Wholesale Banking Technology setting
+ Experience working at Tier 1/Tier 2 financial institutions
+ Thorough understanding of and experience with SWIFT and / or other financial networks
+ Experience working with a geographically diverse organization is required
+ Experience with Agile Delivery Methodology required
+ Bachelors degree or higher in technology field required
+ Experience with US FedWire, CHIPs, Realtime Payments, ISO20022
**Desired Skills:**
+ Experience working at Tier 1/Tier 2 financial institutions is a plus
+ Experience working in a Governance Risk Control function is a plus
+ Experience US ACH is a plus
