Staff Performance Engineer/Tech Lead
A10 Networks is seeking talent to join the Software Engineering - Performance team - someone who is an outstanding team player with positive attitude and motivated to deliver industry leading system software for data center appliances, cloud and security solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Be able to lead the team to deliver performance objectives for all product lines of the company
Work on developing performance reports with required metrics and present it to stake holders
Mentor junior engineers in the team to perform and deliver team's responsibilities
Design and develop automated performance tests to validate required benchmark is achieved
Work closely with engineering eams to debug, troubleshoot, resolve and correct performance
Work in an agile scrum environment
Contribute to automation infra design and code reviews
Your Traits:
5+ years of related industry experience in automation infrastructure development
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience working with various traffic/load generators like Ixia, Spirent, etc
In depth understanding and knowledge of network performance and optimization
Comfortable with Linux environments and scripting experience
Strong networking knowledge (Routing, HTTP, TCP/UDP, DNS, SSL)
Exposure to virtualization, docker/container environment and cloud infrastructure
Strong coding skills in Python
Experience developing automated test suites
Excellent communication skills
