**Systems Administrator**
Endpoint Engineering is a technical position within the Office of the CIO at Disney Streaming Services, reporting to the Manager of Systems Engineering. The administrator will work closely with the IT Services organization, providing troubleshooting and technical escalation assistance. The administrator will evaluate and escalate emerging endpoint management issues from IT Services to the Engineering team. This role will be responsible for maintenance and development of Enterprise Mobility Management and Remote Monitoring and Management platforms used by Disney Streaming Services for endpoint management. The Systems Administrator will assist the engineers with design, synthesis and implementation of these systems. The administrator will collaborate with security, network and systems teams to ensure seamless integration of endpoint management within the larger corporate infrastructure context of Disney Streaming Services. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for contributing to strategic technical decisions and providing support and mentorship to our IT Services organization.
**Responsibilities**
+ Function as a liason and technical escalation point for IT Services organization
+ Troubleshoot, escalate and document engineering issues raised by IT Services
+ Develop, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing Endpoint Management infrastructure
+ Contribute to evaluation and integration of new tooling which improves our Endpoint Management ecosystem
+ Collaborate with security, network engineering, and systems engineering to ensure infrastructure cohesion
+ Document and evangelize tooling within the organization
+ Participate in code review of tools developed by the team
+ Provide collaboration and sounding-board consultation with the rest of the Endpoint Engineering team, ensuring continuity and consistency of focus
**Skills & Experience**
+ Requires 2+ years of experience with enterprise-class endpoint management products, including Jamf, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Apple Business Manager and related systems
+ Requires familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and bash
+ Requires 5+ years of experience troubleshooting major operating systems macOS, Windows, Linux at a tier 2/escalation level
+ A candidate must be able to resolve complex issues and manage bug reporting & engineering follow-up with enterprise support contacts at Apple, Microsoft, RedHat, etc.
+ Requires demonstrated collaboration ability. A candidate must be able to provide escalation support for the IT Services team and investigation and response support to other infrastructure teams
+ A candidate must be able to manage their own projects and follow-up without close supervision
+ Requires strong research and evaluation skills. A candidate will be required to evaluate tooling from multiple vendors and provide recommendations based on competitive feature sets and pricing bids.
+ Requires strong, professional written and verbal communication skills. A candidate will be required to attend high level meetings with other engineering teams and must be able to discuss plans, concept, and strategy in a clear and unambiguous manner.
+ Requires experience writing technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
