Senior/Staff Techncial marketing Engineer/manager Data Center Video

THE ROLE:

The technical marketing role involves support key Data center video products - boards and silicon. The role will be experts on Data center video products, support tier one customers, handle early access engagements, train Field specialist and tech support team, build demos and PoCs.

Youre passionate about rolling out new products into the market that capitalize on the strengths of AMDs technology and provide value to customers. You thrive in a cross functional roles that involve working with multiple teams. Youre comfortable engaging with strategic and high value customers and provide excellent technical support. Youre eager to work with customers as well as engineering teams to ensure that the desired product and user experience is delivered to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Become an expert on new products from AMDs AECG data center video group

• Train field specialists, and technical support orgs

• Build Proof of concepts and demos

• Participate in trade shows

• Validate engineering deliverables to plan

• Onboarding Cloud instances

• Support Early access and key customers and be responsible for their success

• Interface customer system architects and propose solutions

• Support product marketing campaigns and developers forums

QUAFICATIONS:

• Deep knowledge of Video processing Video codecs blocks, Video processing and technical challenges in live streaming in cloud applications

• Hands on experience with FFMPEG and Gstreamer multimedia stacks

• Hands on experience with bringing up PCIe form factors boards in servers and linux

• Working with Windows drivers experience a plus

• Ideal for an energetic, motivated individual with technical acumen, as well as excellent communications skills, this position entails a significant level of influence internally with other technology and marketing groups

• Ability to work as part of a high-performance team in a fast paced environment with multiple cross-functional teams

• Critical thinker, problem solver and owns customer issues and drives them to resolution

• A passion for winning and achieving challenging revenue, design win and market share targets

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• 10+ years semiconductor desired experience and 5+ years of applications and technical support

• Technical knowledge of ASICs, GPUs, CPUs, and FPGAs

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
