The Tech & Net Build Sr Specialist is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
**Responsibilities:**
Seen as a trusted and expert advisor with a consultative mindset by clients.
Maintains a client first culture among the team through partnership, open dialogue and transparent feedback.
Subject Matter Expert; Coordinating all related technical integration and external project related activities. May act as the primary interface/project manager to client
Coordinate set-up, testing and client training for integration activities
Ensure client expectations are managed and client is satisfied throughout the implementation phase including seamless transition to Service/ Ops/Product Support
Work collaboratively within Implementation group as well as with other functional teams such as Product, Tech, and Operations
Share and interpret host to host file (ISO XML, NACHA, SAP IDOC etc.) and API specifications including Payment and Country Rules with client technical resource team for complex payment types
Work with clients to establish host to host connections using SFTP, SWIFT, AS2 protocols
Develop strategic relationship with Tech, Product, Operations and Service partners.
Support the development of Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Statements of Work/PIDs, and other project documentation.
Problem solving approach to resolve conflicts within POD or with partners outside of PODs
Identify trends, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions
Adherence to implementation methodology and policies; fully understand and comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives
May be required to support onsite client meetings, including RFP presentations, engagement initiation and steering reviews
**Qualifications:**
6-10 years of relevant experience leading multi-stakeholder projects or onboarding external partnerships
Experience in Technical implementation or development experience with treasury products and/or services
Experience in client facing API integration a plus
Experience in connectivity protocols like SFTP, SWIFT and AS2 is preferred
Project management/ implementation experience (agile/scrum certification is a plus)
Very good understanding of host to host file formats like ISO XML, NACHA, SAP IDOC is preferred
Solid customer-facing skills (internal and external)
Strong desire to learn via exposure to new products/ practices
Very effective communication skills (both speaking & writing)
High standard of organization
Ability to quickly learn/absorb new information
Ability to communicate some technical details to non-technical users
Ability to handle multiple many projects simultaneously
Independent and self-motivated
Open to new ideas
**Education:**
+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
