Position Summary
As a Business Performance Analyst III, you are responsible for using your in-depth analytical skills to independently provide accurate, complete, timely and insightful reports and analysis used by business management to inform decision making. You work closely with department and/or functional managers on a wide range of assignments with minimal direction to proactively determine requirements, build and update reports and quality test all output prior to distribution. As a senior member of the organization, you will conduct multiple complex analysis with the aim of providing accurate insights with impact on a significant part of the organization and critical to ensuring the success of our business.
Essential Job Functions
Independently develops and deploys reporting, data visualization, and analysis on multiple projects/programs in parallel that is accurate, complete and properly summarized to aid in management of business and management decision making.
Responsible for extracting and summarizing data from JDE, Oracle and other corporate systems.
Independently creates analysis and reporting for complex problems that provides management with clear and concise explanations of relevant trends and/or exceptions.
Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly trend and activity reports as well as other operational and management reports. Ensures that reports are produced per scheduled timelines for review by functional management teams.
Works directly with department and/or functional teams to improve complex data pipelines and correct issues when identified
Partner with multiple senior level stakeholders to design and develop reports and ensures that they perform as expected.
Expert understanding of operational data flow through key systems (OSPI, NetCracker, Service Now, CRM, PMT, etc...) and relationship to key financial systems / general ledger.
Skillfully supports multiple complex ad-hoc reports
Act as a mentor / resource to less tenured colleagues to help guide their success.
Participate in peer reviews of work products and documents.
Education/Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline
Experience/Minimum Requirements
Five (5)+ years Accounting/Finance/Business reporting and data analysis experience
Excellent analytical skills: ability to synthesize large sets of data and integrate complex analytical insights into meaningful reports and recommendations
Resourceful problem solver: ability to work with other functions, research and find information
Experience using data visualization programs such as Power BI or Tableau
Proficient in SQL, and one or more programming languages (Python or R)
Other Skills/Abilities
Strong knowledge of JDE / Oracle and other data analysis and financial ERP tools
Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and work well under pressure
Customer focus in problem-solving approach
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and team first mentality
Strong knowledge of telecommunications and network construction in both the Public and Privates rights-of-way a plus.

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
