**About the in-House Studio**


At AT&T we are building a new in-house studio that will help transform the business and the way marketing assets are produced. This studio will be tasked with executional excellence, delivering efficiently, and ensuring our customer journey is consistent across critical touchpoints.The in-house studio allows our creative teams to be closer to the business and to impact marketing from within the organization. This studio will work across multiple creative and marketing functions. The team will be agile and work nimbly to address the dynamic needs of the business.


**About the Role**


The Creative Director Production Studio is the liaison between marketing and advertising senior management and the internal studio creative department, overseeing the development and delivery of all assets. This person manages and mentors a team of designers, writers and art directors, turning creative ideas into tangible outputs across a variety of media - digital, retail, CRM, and social. The Creative Director Production Studio is responsible for delivering best-in-class, fit for purpose and brand complaint assets.Their duties include review of studio brand guidelines and objectives to ensure it aligns with AT&Ts overarching strategy, attending brief review calls, assigning projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining an efficient and engaging work environment for the larger creative team. Directly responsible for the Creative team (20+ people), the Creative Director Production Studio will be tasked with delivering creative excellence, efficient output, connecting the dots for how the brand shows up on all advertising platforms. This person will work closely with external creative agencies to identify opportunities for partnership and to adapt high-level conceptual work into omnichannel communications. This role requires strong communication, problemsolving skills, governance, and the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with team members and the broader AT&T stakeholder teams.


**Principal Responsibilities:**


Creative and executional excellence


+ Manages and provides creative direction and supervision to the creative team for all work.

+ Plans, oversees, and develops omnichannel work across brand, consumer, and business work.

+ Ensures both strategic and creative goals are achieved at the highest possible levels.

+ Partners with project management and production to ensure that every expectation is being met

+ Ensures consistent, high-quality service by developing and maintaining dedicated, strong relationships with primary stakeholders of the team.

+ Ensures brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions.

+ Leads and contributes to projects in partnership with internal and external designers, writers, and marketing.


People Leader


+ Motivates and inspires teams of designers, art directors and writers to deliver creative excellence.

+ Helps set a tone of cooperation in the in-house studio by promoting a solution-oriented mentality across the team.

+ Coaches and develops team members by providing regular informal and formal feedback, supporting individual development plans, and strengthening project and relationship management skills.

+ Determines project assignments and monitors workload of all creative and production team members.


**Requirements/Qualifications:**


+ Demonstrates a passion and knowledge of design, technique, practice and technology; possesses a superior work ethic.

+ Superior communications, presentations, and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive team atmosphere and relationships with clients.

+ Solid understanding of the AT&T business.

+ Ability to lead and manage a team effectively with poise while maintaining tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

+ Deep understanding of creative technology advancements and a willingness to stay abreast of current trends.

+ Ability to present self and work professionally and persuasively to internal stakeholders.

+ Ability to problem solve and analyze trends in workflow.

+ Detail-oriented, thorough and precise.

+ Positive attitude, open to change and an iterative development process.

+ Works well under pressure and within tight deadlines.

+ Ability to manage both their time effectively as well as the teams time.

+ Excellent understanding of industry best practices in design and writing.

+ Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge.


**Education/Experience:**


+ Bachelors degree required, preferably in design, advertising or related field.

+ 10+ years of professional level experience required.

+ Minimum 5-7 years creative management experience preferred.

+ Portfolio required.

+ In-House agency and creative experience preferred.

+ External agency creative experience required.
