**Position Overview**



Efficient SaaS application testing entails not
just functional qualification assurance but also other integration, workflow
based and trap event tests, including and not limited to security,
accessibility, framework/component load and stress, chaos and performance
tests. As a recognized authority and
leading contributor within Product Integration testing practices, this Director
position owns and provides vital and innovative test solutions and quality gate
automation leadership to BRI Engineering.




The idea candidate will build and lead a team to
exercise judgment and business acumen in selecting test methods and integration
test techniques. The purpose is to
assess dependability, versatility, accessibility and performance of BRI SaaS
services on routine and non-routine use cases in production-like
environments. From A/B exploration test
to complex upgrade/update and unapproved hijack to the information inside a
SaaS application, the successful candidate for this role will lead the investigation
of the nuts and bolts associated with BRI products. The ideal candidate will also ensure that BRI
SaaS applications perform proficiently independent of the traffic load. Gone are the days when software organizations
employ a User Acceptance Test stage in their development to production
journey. It is the charter of the
Product Integration Test team to turn performance and other additional
testing into practical and domineering parts of their ordinary routines, so to
discover execution defects before our clients find it.



**Responsibilities**



+ Hire,onboard, train and manage a global team of test engineers and test leadsfocused on delivering the highest quality product in the fastest possibleway.

+ Drive testprocess change, innovation, engineering improvement and tools to enablerapid development with high quality.

+ AdviseSenior Management/Product Development staff on the quality and risk offeatures being released.

+ Collaborate withcross-functional teams including Product, Program Management, Development,Service Delivery/Operations, and Customer Service to coordinate and directcross-project Test Engineering and Development initiatives.

+ Demonstrateexpertise in multiple test processes across multiple product families orability to architect and design test solutions encompassing multipleservices/products and report findings on impact across the stack.

+ Defineintegration and performance testing strategies and detailed test plans forimplementation projects. Manage allactivities related to testing SaaS services from multiple product lines,client specific configurations, integrations, and client data.

+ Leadautomation efforts on integrated, system-level tests. Keep test environments and dataavailable.

+ Ensureadequate acceptance test coverage and central to obtaining and processingtest automation requirements for CI/CD quality gates in order to transformapplication delivery for cloud in a continuous and agile fashion.

+ Participatein development project planning and project status communications

+ Review andsign off on testing scope and approach, and partners with cross-functionaland business stakeholders to review and approve the overall testingapproach.

+ Address anddelineate performance and end-to-end device to cloud testing throughtest-oriented stories, which are estimated, planned and tracked just likea product-oriented story.

+ Oversee andaddress critical issues, dependencies, and risks related to testing.

+ Ensurequality assurance projects are appropriately staffed, work plans arefollowed, and milestones are met.

+ Manage theintegration and performance test scenarios and ensures quality metrics aretracked across all testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT,Automation, Production, Validation).

+ Manage thereview and validation of testable business processes, test data, and testenvironment requirements.

+ Take on across-functional role, communicating and working alongside PM, Designer,DevOps and Developers while guiding individual product line test teams.

**Required Skills and Education**



+ Bachelorsor master's degree in Computer Science or similar degree/experience.

+ 5+years of Test Management experience across all phases of testing(including automation)

+ Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills

+ Abilityto understand & develop tests and work with PM, Designer, DevOps anddevelopers

+ ExtensiveStrategy and Planning skills

+ Matrixmanagement of distributed test team for cost effectiveness

+ Testplans and test summary reports

+ Thoroughknowledge and experience in CI/CD

+ Proventrack record hiring, leading happy, productive teams to deliver highquality software in fast paced environments.

+ Excellentverbal and written communication skills including the ability to convey complex ideas in a simple, digestible manner.



**Preferred Skills andEducation**



+ Knowledgeand experience with Agile, Continuous integration (CI), ContinuousDelivery (CD), DevOps testing delivery at enterprise level will be highlyregarded.

+ Experiencein SaaS architecture and Mobile test technologies

+ Testand Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD)

+ Excellentdebugging skills, including experience with test automation tools andlibraries such as Selenium, TestNG, Jest, JMeter, CodeMagic, TestFlight,etc

+ Experiencetesting web applications constructed using modern web frameworks and techstack such as Vue.js, Java, Python, Node.js, Dynamo DB, Aurora DB,GraphQL, AWS AppSync, Auth0, WebSocket, Redis, PostgreSQL, Cordovaframework, etc.

+ Familiarwith the Cyber Security and Information Security frameworks andcompliances like FERPA, CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR, SAS-70, SOC2 Type X, ISO27001,etc.

+ SecureAPI testing experience

+ Familiarwith emerging web platform best-practices, including progressive webapplications, service workers, network optimization, and performanceoptimization
