As an Infrastructure Engineer Sr Exadata Admin within PNC's Enterprise Technology Hosting & Engineering organization, you will be part of a team and report into a Manger.

This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.

This role is an individual contributor responsible for applying skills and knowledge to perform specified support functions. DBA with expert level Knowledge of Golden Gate Replication and UNIX scripting experience to be involved with PNC's High Availability Tier 0 systems. Primary duties will be to support and resolve Database problems; to plan, execute and manage database and Golden Gate implementations and to ensure all security, quality and compliance requirements are met. Tasks include monitor and tune production Golden Gate Database implementations. Requirements:

Previous work experience in Oracle RAC Database Administration.
Comprehensive background with physical DBA support in a complex environments.
Install, configure and administer Oracle RAC DBs version 18c and above, including the design, configuration and operation of n-node clusters, data recovery, and user/group/role definition.
Configure Physical standby databases and perform switchover/failover activities. Troubleshoot standby and switchover issues.
Exadata Administration including storage cell servers using CELLCLI and DCLI
Require knowledge of Exadata architecture along with all the various components of Exadata
Exadata patching and applying QFSDP.
Troubleshoot Exadata specific issues related to PDU, Infiniband and Storage cells.
Implement DBRW,IORM on Exadata for a shared environment.
Install, Configure, troubleshoot and support GoldenGate. Replication between different version of Oracle Database and across GoldenGate releases
Configuration management, performance tuning and administration of mission critical production databases
Database skills must include: Installation/Patching/Upgrade of the database software on Linux platform, RMAN backup and recovery of the Oracle Database, performance tuning, migration, data guard replication, configuration and security administration.
Configure GoldenGate Downstream Mining and Integrated components for Active-Active replication.
Configure GoldenGate High Availability using Oracle DBFS and Active DataGuard.
Conflict Detection and Resolution in Active-Active Replication Environments Using Oracle GoldenGate.
Perform Schema level and Table level data refreshes from Production to Non-Production environments using Data pump EXPDP/IMPDP.
Monitor database activities such as Backup, Error Logs, Space, Object, Performance, User and Session monitoring for proper capacity and availability.
Perform GoldenGate Upgrade replication without any data loss.
Experience in SQL server/MySQL Administration is a plus.
Good understanding of the Linux/UNIX environments.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

Work experience with OLTP, OLAP, Staging, and Data warehouse configuration.
Strong fundamentals in all aspects of DBA responsibilities.
Experience with Oracle 12c, 18c and GoldenGate 13.X.
Strong track record supporting complex GoldenGate. Replication Setup across different release of Oracle Database and different release of GoldenGate.
Excellent communication skills, customer service and client management skills.
Highly specialized in Oracle 18c RAC Database Administration and Technical Architecture, including but not limited to database administration, ASM Storage, SCAN Listener, RMAN backup and recovery, Performance Tuning, Database Refreshes from Prod to Lower Envs, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12/13c with installation and configuration of emails and alerts.
Experience with implementing Oracle Golden Gate for Oracle 12c and/or 18c as Active/Active configuration.
A bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences or related field preferred

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
