IT System Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Providing support to customer regarding the operation of the computer simulator client; including the configuration of software for various courses of action.
Providing hardware and software integration of computer flight simulator equipment to ensure systems function properly.
Mechanical duties such as installing TV’s, display items, 3 DoF motion systems.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Assist with Planning, test and implement solutions through research and discovering alternative ways to provide the customer with an optimal resolution to problems.
Deploy computer images, install software patches, and update computer simulator systems.
Ability to work on multiple projects and work with little to no supervision.
Collaborate with customer and team to define needs, problems, or fixes.
Identify and correct hardware and software malfunctions in a timely manner
Maintain computer equipment and inventory.

Webpage design
Adobe Suite of products for creating or editing virtual reality objects
Microsoft Active Directory
Flight simulator software: Prepare3d
Network Imaging software
NAS devices, DHCP, DNS and File Server
VR Computer Systems
Qualifications
Required Experience & Education:
Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience
Ability to analyze code structure and apply fixes in PC game related applications.
Knowledge of game development platforms, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
Working knowledge of HTML, scripting, C#, C++.
Windows environment troubleshooting.
PC hardware Troubleshooting.
Target salary range: $75,001 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
