Senior Business Control Specialist, Core Technology Infrastructure Jersey City, New Jersey; Charlotte, North Carolina Job Description: Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) is responsible for all technology needs of the Enterprise, Lines of Business, and regions. The teams design, build and operate end-to-end technology infrastructure solutions and manage critical systems and platforms across the bank. Teams manage technology operations relating to midrange, mainframe, data centers, database, middleware, messaging, server patching, change management, event management, incident management and problem management, and oversee end-to-end engineering, cloud strategy, networks, automation, and application services. Global Banking and Markets, Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology Infrastructure is part of the CTI organization and is responsible for delivering end-to-end technology infrastructure services and solutions for the respective lines of business. This includes accountability for Banking Production Services, Markets Application Production Services, Enterprise Risk and Finance Application Production Services, Infrastructure Solutions Architecture, Engagement Services, Finance Customer Infrastructure, Capacity and Performance Testing, and Market Data. GBAM ERF TI has a global footprint across 20 countries and employs close to 3,000 employees and contractors. Chief Operating Officer/Business Operations scope includes providing analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. This role will be responsible for risk management including issues management, operational losses, Enhanced Remediation Plans (ERP), and reporting. You will provide advice to GBAM ERF TI teams to ensure adherence to Enterprise Standards and Policies, and to all applicable Laws, Rules and Regs. You will act as an escalation point and will provide appropriate challenge. This highly visible position will be responsible for liaising across corporate functions and key business partners including Technology teams, Compliance and Operational Risk, Legal, GIS, and Internal Audit. This position will be responsible for advocating a strong risk management culture and discipline to ensure capabilities are in place to drive execution of the firms risk management framework. Required Skills: Proficiency with MS Office tools, including a deep knowledge of MS Excel features and the ability to generate and produce high quality reports, analysis, and presentations. Effective time management and organizational skills, including the ability to assess multiple competing demands and reprioritize accordingly. Apply intellectual curiosity and continual questioning to define root causes, timelines, responsible parties, and remediation plans.
