We are looking for Senior People Analytics Insights Analyst and
Senior People Insights Analyst/Tableau Reports Developer to join our Workforce Analytics team at Magellan Health. The Workforce Analytics team provides insights to inform
talent and organizational decisions aligned with Magellan's business
objectives and enabling the innovative and caring services
Magellan's members depend on.
In this role, you will provide insights to leaders and HR professionals
across the enterprise. You will leverage your expert-level technical
versatility by building reports and dashboards and conducting
custom analyses using Tableau BI tools and platforms. You will prepare and manage data,
build metrics and KPIs, develop both production and ad hoc dashboards
and reports. And you will scope and conduct custom analysis
projects and deliver insights to clients.

Provides insights to leaders and HR professionals by building reports and dashboards and conducting custom analyses using Tableau and BI tools and platforms. Prepares and manages data, builds metrics and KPIs, develops both production and ad hoc dashboards and reports. Scopes and conducts custom analysis projects and delivers insights to clients.
Develops and maintains a body of reports and dashboards for managers, HRBCs and COEs across the organization.
Conducts a variety of custom analysis projects for HRBCs and business leaders, providing insights into people and business challenges and opportunities.
Designs and develops reports and dashboards featuring flexible query functionality, intuitive navigation and ease of use in Tableau on AWS.
Works with end users, data owners and SMEs of various enterprise source systems to identify needs and determine requirements.
Manages development projects from beginning to end, partnering with IT, SMEs and other colleagues.
Supports complementary people and business analytics and reporting platforms, by extracting, modeling, transforming and loading data for on premise and cloud environments.
Ensures accurate data and application functionality through the execution of validation processes and testing procedures.
Develops and maintains self-service report inventory and resource guides describing available dashboards, reports, metrics, and data for end users and the analytics team.
Serves as an expert on reporting and dashboard development in supported platforms.

Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in a field of study providing a combination of advanced analytic, technical and conceptual skills, with subject matter expertise in people analytics, or combination of education and equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in analytics, providing insights through reports and dashboards and custom analyses for leaders and business partners.
3 - 5 years' experience applying Tableau BI tools to develop ad hoc and production dashboards and conduct custom analyses.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in SQL and other data management tools (e.g., Python) and Excel.
Excellent and demonstrated conceptual and analytical abilities, including quantitative skills.
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly through instruction and self-training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent customer-focus.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
