We are seeking a passionate, talented Full Stack Developer to join our team, producing an enterprise focused software solution. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You are a team player with a knack for complex problem solving. This role requires you to be fluent in critical technologies, proficient in others and possess a hunger to learn new technology as required to solve business problems. The ideal candidate would be well versed in the challenges and complexities involved in building scalable and robust applications. This candidate is competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application programming activities. This person will also help with mentoring team members to develop mastery in all facets of full stack engineering. Most importantly, they thrive in a fast paced & collaborative culture.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

This role is Flex which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related degree desired

  • Experienced professional with 5+ years of experience as full stack developer

  • Strong debugging and problem solving abilities

  • Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Design techniques

  • Experience validating requirements and driving technical solutions that achieve business solutions

  • Excellent communications skills - both written and spoken

  • Experience with React with hooks

  • Experience with JPA

  • Experience with Spring Boot

  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS and/or PCF preferred)

  • Experience developing web applications with cross browser compatibility

  • Experience developing responsive and accessible web applications

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • HTML5,CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, Jenkins, SonarQube, Postgres, Webpack, ESLint, Java, Spring Framework (Boot, Data JPA, Security, etc.), Springboot, JPA (Hibernate), REST/SOAP Service Development, Maven, GIT and GITFlow workflow,

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $95,900 - $159,800, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
