Senior Software Engineering Manager needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas to responsible for the design and development of various initiatives for AT&Ts customer and employee digital experience across our consumer distribution channels. Manage and lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Design modular and scalable web components. Lead large cross-organization software development projects. Lead the strategic alignment of application development roadmaps to application and enterprise strategies. Provide technical design and architectural leadership to multiple teams and projects to help ensure applications are integrated and adhere to stated architectural and design principles and standards while having the opportunity to remain in a hands-on engineering role. Drive efforts to architect, design, develop, and implement technology-enabled business and technical information solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies. Research, analyze and recommend new technologies, rationalization opportunities, standard processes, tools and techniques to further the firms application and enterprise technology architecture strategies. Review business process and technical solution designs to help ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technologies. Own key initiatives and deliverables especially in the eCommerce purchase flow and fulfillment, inventory and scheduling capabilities. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management and compliance. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment and production support. Utilize application delivery, Java-based high-volume, high-transaction e-commerce and telecom applications. Utilize GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus and Sonar. Perform Unit and Function testing using Junit, Mockito JMock, SoapUI, and Postman. Build multi-channel and multi-tenant aware commerce and telecom platforms. Utilize Unix and Linux command line. Utilize Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Utilize Java, Spring, and Agile frameworks. Oversee one (1) Senior Technical Business Analyst and one (1) Senior Software Engineer.
Requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience utilizing application delivery, Java-based high-volume and high-transaction e-commerce and telecom applications; utilizing GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and Sonar; performing Unit and Function testing using Junit, Mockito JMock, SoapUI, and Postman; building multi-channel and multi-tenant aware commerce and telecom platforms; utilizing Unix and Linux command line; utilizing Agile, Scrum, and Kanban; and utilizing Java, Spring, and Agile frameworks.
