Sr. Operations Analyst-Private Bank Trade Support

**Job Description:**
**Enterprise Overview:**
Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mg.t/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years' experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.
**LOB Description:**
The Private Bank Investment Operations Team provides operational support for all bank placed trades executed by the Investment Solutions Group (ISG). The Trade Support Analyst will work with various custodian banks and brokers and provide technical operational trade support for Private Bank. The Analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate trade delivery, broker allocations and matching/affirmation of both Equity and Fixed Income security transactions. The team interacts with Private Bank offices, brokers, contra firms, fund accounting agents and other operational areas. They support domestic and international trading activity for trading desks located in Boston and New York. Additionally, this role will involve engagement on many large bank initiatives (i.e. Integrated Investment Platform (IIP), Ops Excellence, etc.).
**Responsibilities include:**
+ The matching and affirmation of Equity and/or Fixed Income security transactions
+ Reporting trades to custodian banks, manually or systematically
+ Following up on all exceptions with appropriate parties (trading, custodian banks, brokers and fund accounting)
+ Developing and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external contacts to promote expeditious trade problem resolution
+ Ensuring all Service Level Agreements for Trade Support have been adhered to
+ Ensuring that all issues are escalated to the appropriate levels in a timely fashion
+ Ensuring compliance to all levels of audit and compliance (laws, rules and regulations)
+ Completing projects (industry or regulatory) assigned by Department Manager or Team Lead
**Required Skills:**
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in an investment operations rolesupporting trade related functionsor equivalent
