The Applications Development Technology Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Experience in architecture, design, development and coding world class software using Microservices architecture & BigData technologies (for data processing). Manages the architecture Vision & roadmap in alignment to the digital architecture roadmap.
Demonstrable and relevant HANDS-ON experience implementing Microservices using Spring Boot, Big data platform based on Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS operations, HIVE and NoSQL data stores particularly Key-Value pair. Hands on experience with Oracle, REST Services, Apache Spark (with Java) and Kafka are must with willingness to learn backed with solid technology understanding of distributed systems. Exposure to AWS Cloud would be an additional plus.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Ownership and responsibility for end-to-end business solution providing a full range of enterprise services and solutions in Relational & BigData platforms.
+ Work closely with various business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive the execution of multiple business plans & technologies.
+ Responsible for Information Management in areas of Enterprise Architecture Planning, Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Data Warehousing.
+ Lead a culture of innovation & experimentation, support full software lifecycle that incorporates the best of technology approaches & delivery methodologies.
+ Actively work on performance tuning techniques on data structures on both Relational & BigData Platforms giving high performance to both ETL & Reporting Components.
+ Ensure process compliance and manage expectations with leadership.
+ Actively participate in brainstorming session and provide solid inputs to the team and ensure best practices are followed within the team.
+ Provide full support to different groups like Dev, SIT & Prod Support on Data Governance, Modelling & maintenance/production processes
+ Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems
+ Provide expertise in area of advanced knowledge of applications programming and plan assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projects
+ Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years information technology experience in Application Development
+ 6+ years of experience with Java 8, Groovy, Python, Hadoop
+ 6+ years of experience with Spring, Hibernate, and other emerging technologies.
+ 6+ years of experience with Microservices, API Gateway, API Management, Enterprise Design Patterns.
+ 6+ years of experience with Data Modeling Relational, Dimensional, Data Vault Modeling, ODS, Structured/Unstructured and OLTP
+ 6+ years of experience with BigData Technologies: Spark, Hive, Scoop, Hadoop, Paxata, Hue
+ Life Cycle Expertise with Agile Methodologies, requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and performance tuning.
+ Products/Tools Erwin 9, SQL Developer, Eclipse, IntelliJ
+ Experience in implementing projects
+ Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
+ Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
+ Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions
+ Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
+ Relationship and consensus building skills
