Join the Markets Digital Solutions Technology team in building innovative solutions across Citi's Capital Markets division. Digital Solutions delivers modern ways of solving traditional, complex banking problems.


One of the workstreams within Digital Solutions in the buildout of a Business Intelligence platform using Tableau. Data is at the core in how business decisions are made and treated as the most valued asset to equip our business with the information they need to best service our clients. The business intelligence platform is the visualization engine that drives analytics on complex datasets. We are looking for Business Intelligence platform team lead for ICG Citi Velocity & Markets Digital Solutions group. This individual will act as a trusted hands-on technical advisor and strategic thought leader. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant changes; developing/implementing strategies and processes that enable the organization to innovate and grow fast. The role will have the opportunity to lead, manage, guide and mentor developers in the global team on architecture, design, direction, strategy, and implementation in a hands-on manner. This role will be responsible for the strategic and technical direction of the BI platform solution offerings.


The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.


**Job Description:**


+ Set policies, standards and best practices for Tableau business intelligence (BI) platform.

+ Lead the daily activities of a team of 3-4 Tableau developers.

+ Collaborate with other departments to prioritize Tableau development needs.

+ Perform code reviews to ensure high quality and that standards are being met.

+ Provide management-level communications regarding project performance and business intelligence / data warehouse performance results.

+ Work with business to understand all dashboard requirements and work on implementation

+ Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and BI solutions.

+ Design & develop solutions using Tableau Dashboards with Big Data technologies, Oracle and Web API as the source.

+ Deep understanding of SQL, relational databases, normalization and tuning.

+ Developing scripts to automate data extraction and processing.

+ Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.

+ Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.

+ Experience with all the components of Tableau suite including but not limited to Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau Architecture

+ Collaborate with client management teams to establish requirements, collect feedback, and assist with questions as more dashboards are developed.


**Skills:**


+ 10+ years of business intelligence, analytics or related experience.

+ 5 years of experience with Tableau Business Intelligence

+ Hands-on with Tableau Platform (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management and publishing to Tableau Server)

+ Automation of Hyper Extracts

+ Oracle SQL and Spark SQL

+ Unix, shell scripting

+ Aptitude to quickly learn and adopt new technologies

+ Strong analytical/problem-solving skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Masters degree preferred


Candidate needs to be in the office once every quarter.
