**ROLE SUMMARY**
The Director of Value Marketing will be responsible for developing, championing, and implementing biosimilar value marketing strategy & messaging for the Pfizer US Oncology biosimilar portfolio across managed markets, hospital systems, and GPO customer segments. The Director, Biosimilars Value Marketing will be a key member of the US Oncology Biosimilar Team working closely with biosimilar senior leadership, and brand marketing teams to help drive growth of the US Oncology biosimilar business.
**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Development and execution of Pfizer US Oncology biosimilars brand and portfolio value proposition and value based promotional initiatives**
**Market Analysis:** Synthesize multiple secondary data sources to identify potential threats and opportunities to brand coverage and performance in key large national payer and provider health systems
**Value-based Promotional Initiative Development and Implementation:**
+ Own the development and implementation of innovative data generation projects to reinforce Pfizer US Oncology biosimilar, Pfizer brand and Pfizer portfolio value propositions, national and regional, to US providers and corporate customers
+ Spearhead the development of a compelling Real World Data platform to support value communication programs, partnering with Global Health Economics where necessary
+ Lead the creation of Pfizer Oncology biosimilars value messaging and corresponding promotional pieces
+ Be the champion and strongest advocate of the Pfizer Oncology biosimilars value messaging. Gain alignment with key internal stakeholders, including brand marketing, customer-facing, medical, national accounts, GPO, payer and trade teams
+ Drive engagement and support from US Oncology biosimilar brand marketers on RC/MLR process for customer-facing initiatives to bring evolving value messages to market
**Value offer Development:**
+ Develop unique value based contractual offerings to key large payers and IDN systems
+ Model financial scenarios that inform value offering long-term business impact
+ Strategically balance trade-offs across provider, payer, and GPO offers
**Lead the conversation on provider and payer value advocacy topics to demonstrate Pfizer's commitment to the biosimilars value proposition, including provider and patient choice:**
+ Engage with cross functional internal teams, state medical societies, professional associations, large group practices and systems
+ Represent commercial insights and perspective to Pfizer policy advocacy stakeholders to inform policy strategies
+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other graduate degree is preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry required (i.e., strategic planning, pricing, value marketing)
+ Experience with US buy-and-bill biologics marketplace, ASP-based reimbursement, and key value chain players
+ Proven ability to analyze complex data, model financial impact, develop and implement related strategic recommendations
+ Ability to lead initiatives in a highly matrixed environment and gain buy in across multiple groups across Pfizer
+ Ability to take accountability for business challenges and tackle complex problems
+ Strong customer-orientation; an ability to see issues from the point of view of others; an "execution mindset" focused on getting things done quickly
+ Outstanding writing, oral and presentation skills; ability to convey and effectively communicate market analytics, project proposals and strategies, and the results of complex data analyses to diverse audiences
+ High level of integrity, transparency of conduct
