Enterprise Risk Management - Strategy, Productivity and Communications Lead

The Strategy function within Enterprise Risk Management CAO and Transformation is responsible for partnering with ERM team leads to drive cross functional organization productivity and execute on communication strategy to ensure alignment with ERMs internal and external commitments. The ERM Strategy lead is also singularly responsible for driving the cross functional communication by partnering with ERM team leads to share the ERM function objectives and insights from the strategic initiatives, review productivity, incubate new roles and facilitate strategic investment analysis for ERM function. The team lead will drive the global communication plan development and execution, as well as define regional level ERM communication while closely collaborating with regional leads.


The Strategy Lead is a senior management level position managing a team responsible for accomplishing results through a strategic partnership with the ERM internal teams, partners and stakeholders across 1LOD and 2LOD. As a senior position within the ERM CAO and Transformation team, the Strategy Lead will report to the ERM CAO and Transformation head. In this capacity the Strategy Lead is a critical leadership position in the ERM CAO and Transformation team and will be responsible for defining the end-to-end communication plan for critical strategic transformation initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders across Risk & Business. This role will also be responsible for the productivity review including evaluating effectiveness of internal and external resourcing within teams, new roles definitions and general alignment of roles within ERM organization.


**Overall Responsibilities:**


+ The role will support the ERM teams (Enterprise Risk Analytics, New Activities Risk Management, Risk Appetite and Limit, Risk Framework and Policy, Risk ID and Strategic Risk, Climate Risk, Digital Assets Risk, Enterprise Risk Governance), ensuring teams are efficiently and optimally staffed.

+ The role will be responsible for driving productivity discussions and creating alignment/ synergies with Risk Transformation/ Consent Order, and Business Simplification initiatives as they relate to the internal and external resourcing and new roles for processes owned and performed by ERM.

+ Actively work with Program Managers, Product Owners and Risk and Control program stakeholder align the ERM Communication plan for senior management and other stakeholders

+ The role will be responsible to drive a communication strategy that covers all milestones of business strategy, design, modelling, and technology solutions, promote transparency between various ongoing ERM programs, and facilitate continue communication.

+ This role will be responsible to represent ERM function into business and communication strategy discussion forums of Risk and Control programs to drive the regular ERM communication while partnering with all Risk Stripes.

+ The role will be responsible to drive regular ERM function town halls, global and regional forums for the communication of business strategy and regulatory commitments through the consent order plan.

+ This role works with key stakeholders across ERM, Risk, Risk DART, Risk COO PMO, Technology, EIO&T Business Simplification, and 1LOD, as well as other disciplines to ensure appropriate alignment on communication of activities supporting the regulatory submissions committed as part of the consent order


**Communications** :


+ Develop an effective Communications Strategy for both internal and external stakeholders and maintain a comprehensive and regular cycle of communication

+ Manage regular employee information sessions including Town site updates, reward and recognition, VOE (Voice of the Employee) and community engagement accomplishments.

+ Work with CAO and Transformation Head and ERM Leadership team, (SLT) to find opportunities for branding and employee engagement activity People, Talent Management and Culture

+ Partner with HR on promoting various employee initiatives eg. reviews VOE results; creates working committees to address people issues and sponsors diversity networks and VOE committees

+ Partner with local HR on delivery and implementation of key People Priorities (eg recruitment, onboarding, learning, culture, internal mobility, employee retention and recognition programs)

+ Leads focus on employment attrition efforts along with managers and HR

+ Coordinate Senior Management offsites ensuring accurate representation of the attributes of the location

+ Onboarding and assimilation of new talent to promote retention and engagement


**Qualifications:**


+ 15+ years of relevant experience

+ 10+ years of Strategy and Communication experience with Risk management functions

+ Experience in people management.

+ Previous experience as COO/ CAO preferred

+ Previous supervisory experience

+ Demonstrated leadership and management skills

+ Ability to work across functional areas

+ Demonstrated business case development and project management skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Masters degree preferred
