Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a **Principal Military Trainer Irregular Forces Coordinator** to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting our Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at **Fort Leavenworth,** in **Kansas** . The MCTP trains Brigade, Division, and Corps Commanders and their staffs during simulation-driven command post Warfighter Exercises (WFX) in support of Large-Scale Combat Operations and across Multi-Domain Operations.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provides consulting expertise to military clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine specific to the Hybrid Threat of Irregular Forces
+ Develops background and biographical information relevant to Irregular Forces, based on real-world actors, through research of unclassified and classified sources
+ During scenario development, coordinates with storyline writers and intelligence analysts to ensure they are supported operationally during the exercise
+ Prepares and conducts briefings and presentations of future operational plans to leadership
+ Monitors and evaluates operations with the intent to provide data to support observations of performance as it relates to training objectives
+ Maintains relevancy on current irregular threat trends and force composition of irregular actors and their capabilities
+ Plans and coordinates multiple missions within the simulation during exercise execution

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ One of the following:
+ High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of professional leadership experience
+ Bachelors degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional leadership experience
+ Masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional leadership experience
+ Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine
+ Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
+ Must be able to travel as needed both CONUS and OCONUS (up to 25% of the time)
+ Must have a current security clearance background investigation, at a minimum an active Secret clearance
+ Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Graduate degree
+ U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, or MEL 4 equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE)
+ Special Operations or Infantry experience
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in design, planning, configuration, and conduct of large-scale computer simulation exercises
+ Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training

Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
