Role Responsibilities
Beam Suntory is looking to hire a Senior HR Manager to support our US Sales and Marketing organization. The Senior HR Manager provides strategic partnership and consultation to leaders on critical priorities, long term direction setting, and support of talent, development, performance, and engagement strategies to deliver against the objectives of the US Sales/Marketing organization. People and Performance Strategy Partner
Serves as the lead coach for US Sales leaders, helping them support their teams to deliver the business strategy
Build strong relationships with the business leaders based on respect and trust, in order to partner effectively, influence decision making, and coach on a range of confidential and sensitive issues
Translate annual and long-term business plans into talent, succession and organizational plans for your market
Provide Facilitation and Training to support with the business leaders team development
Employee Engagement and Culture
Work with the Senior Director of Human Resources and US Sales/Marketing leaders to continue to build the culture and engagement of the US Commercial organization. Supports employee engagement initiatives and work with leaders to develop action plans, ensuring that company values and behaviors are incorporated and embedded.
Work with the Senior Director of Human Resources and US Sales leaders to deliver against the US Sales D&I objectives and Organizations D&I goals.
Talent identification and management
Work in partnership with leaders to identify talent then implement and embed talent management processes (inc development & succession plans).
Build relationships with high potential employees and facilitate interaction across the group, acting as talent broker encouraging the transfer of individuaIs from one part of the organization to another to obtain specific developmental experience.
Work closely with Talent COE to ensure global/regional processes are implemented.
Organization design & Strategic Workforce Planning
Support leaders to ensure the organization is appropriately designed - assessing current & future needs and operating model to identify design improvement to help fulfil organization strategy and objectives, help implement and review.
Organization development, Change & Analytics
Lead and influence change - design interventions to drive the appropriate culture, behaviours, skills, and performance and provide insight and leadership on change management strategy, planning and implementation.
Leverage employee data and analytics to inform decision making, spot workforce trends, and drive continuous improvement.
Performance and reward
Work closely with Total Rewards teams to implement pay and reward programs. Coordinate job evaluations.
General HR operations and administration
Effectively manage day to day HR activities including, recruitment, responding to employee enquiries, managing employee issues and HRIS administration.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
8+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proven ability to effectively influence and make an impact on a wide array of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Knowledge and understating of US employment law
Previous experience in employee relations is required
Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
Agile, adaptable and resilient. Enjoys working in a fast paced and consumer-centric culture
Customer service focused with a bias for action
The position is based in New York, with some or occasional travel throughout the US
